The Spark from Poland Ignites the World

Jesus chose to converse with Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska often and asked her to write down everything He was telling her. He said He wanted the whole world to know about His endless mercy for souls. She began to keep a diary that was published in English in 1987 with the title Divine Mercy in My Soul. St. Faustina’s writing have sparked a world-wide devotion known as Divine Mercy. Please join us on Monday, October 21st at 7:00 PM in church to view a dynamic presentation by the founders and directors of Mother of Mercy Messengers, Dave and Joan Maroney that is much more than a talk or lecture. As followers of Christ it is important for us to continually feed our souls with good spiritual food. After the presentation, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed on the altar and we will have a time of prayer and reflection. During this time confessions will be heard. Don’t miss this opportunity to come together as a community and pray for our families, parish, country, and world. If you are unable to attend on Monday evening you are invited to sit in on one of the children’s programs on Tuesday, October 22: 9:00 AM with Assumption School students, 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM with Religious Education Classes. Parents and home school families are invited to attend the children’s presentations on Tuesday. We are looking for volunteers for Monday evening, if you are interested, please contact the parish office. Teens are welcomed for service hours. A free will offering will be taken and Divine Mercy Materials will be available to purchase. Learn more at DivineMercyforAmerica.org.
